AT&T Expands Service to Help Businesses

AT&T is expanding its business wi-fi service to 60 countries to help businesses stay connected and run critical operations. The company plans to expand service to even more countries after this initial move. One goal of this expansion is to help small, mid-sized, and large businesses deliver new experiences to their customers. These experiences will help draw in new customers and increase customer loyalty.

“AT&T’s Business Wi-Fi lets us combine the energy of go-kart racing with the technology that our visitors expect in their everyday life,” says Susan Danglard, Marketing Director at K1 Speed. “We use it to keep our races running smoothly, bring best-in-class experiences to our guests, and make it easy for them to share their experiences with their friends and family.”

Roman Pacewicz, Chief Product Officer at AT&T Business, adds, “Wi-fi isn’t an option for businesses anymore—it’s a necessity. As a key part of any integrated solution, wi-fi can be the biggest driver in businesses creating new ways to operate and engage with their customers.”

AccorHotels Adopts Infor Solution

Infor, a provider of industry-specific cloud applications, has announced that its revenue management solution dedicated to the hospitality industry, Infor EzRMS, has been deployed by AccorHotels in France. The hotel company intends to replace its existing solution in nearly 150 sites and use EzRMS instead, which is currently in place in 212 of its hotels. The Infor solution will enable the 150 new sites to benefit from better visibility for room booking and then adjust their forecasts based on a dynamic approach and self-learning algorithms.

“We wanted a solution that could easily be interfaced with both our existing property management system, as well as with our AccorHotels central reservation system,” says Anne-Lise Lefeuvre, Head of Digital Projects, RM Tools, and Methods at AccorHotels France. “The goal for us was to offer and recommend to all our establishments a single unified solution. The rich functionalities of EzRMS, from a multi-criteria reporting point-of-view, but also in terms of forecasting and associated recommendations, combined with a competitive cost reduction factor, were at the origin of the project.”
