Costco Debuts Mac & Cheese with 20-Year Shelf-Life
 
The major retailer Costco now sells a 27-pound tub of mac-and-cheese that is guaranteed to stay fresh for 20 years. The tub, which sells for about $90, is featured in the brand’s Emergency Kits & Supplies category, as it is intended to appeal to the doomsday survival segment. The same product is available from Amazon for about $150. The preservatives used in the mac-and-cheese are approved by the relevant regulatory agencies.
 
Study Shows What Online Shoppers Most Value

Radial has announced the results of its global consumer insights study, “Cracking the Code: What Online Shoppers Value Most.” The study surveyed more than 2,000 consumers across the United States and Canada to determine their online shopping preferences and what strategies brands can use to meet customer expectations in the increasingly competitive business of commerce. The findings showed that consumers have clear and unwavering opinions regarding the services they value, as well as those that would turn them away.
