United Airlines Matching Loyalty Status on Other Airlines
United Airlines is giving Delta Air Lines and American Airlines loyalty program members the chance to get their status matched by United with its new “Status Match Challenge” promotion that the airline is rolling out over the next 90 days. During the promotion, United is allowing Delta Medallion members and American Airlines AAdvantage members to fly with United MileagePlus Premier Gold status over the next 90 days. United will match the loyalty level with different MileagePlus level and will allow the traveler to keep the status for the remainder of the year if they are able to reach a certain number of qualifying flights and points by the end of the 90-day period.
 
Lexus Updates its Encore Owner Benefits Program
Lexus is expanding its Encore Owner Benefits loyalty program to include a variety of benefits, such as capped price servicing, access to more owner events, and a new mobile app. In addition to the more transparent servicing model, Lexus will also be rewarding customer loyalty with more Encore events throughout the year. These allow owners to enjoy dining, lifestyle and resort experiences as a guest of Lexus at its various partnership locations.

H-E-B Rated Top Grocer in Latest Retail Preference Index
Released this week, Dunnhumby’s Retail Preference Index ranks companies on seven key metrics that feed into an overall ranking. In first place was regional retailer H-E-B, jumping ahead of the three previously top-ranked retailers - Trader Joe’s, Amazon and Costco. According to the report, H-E-B’s move into first place was driven by its sustained focus and excellence on assortment relevance and private brand and is consistent with Dunnhumby’s findings that some regional grocers are gaining ground and going toe-to-toe with leading nontraditional retailers. For the third year in a row, price and quality remain the two most important customer needs that retailers must meet.
 
Schnucks Expanding Health Programs

Schnuck Markets is expanding its gym partnership​ and ​healthy kids’ field trip programs and invites customers to join the company in a community-wide step challenge. The actions come on the heels of Schnucks’ recent decision to ​stop selling tobacco products​. “We know that lots of people start the New Year with a new resolve to make healthier choices, so Schnucks is working to help our customers jump-start healthy habits for 2020 and beyond,” said Kara Behlke, Schnucks’ Director of Health and Wellness. Participants who log 50,000 steps or more now through Feb. 29 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 50,000 Schnucks Rewards points, the equivalent of $100.

Chase Partners with DoorDash to Waive Food-Delivery Fees for Sapphire card members
Chase just announced a new promotion with DoorDash, offering discounts on the company's DashPass unlimited delivery program. For $9.99 per month, DashPass customers receive lower service fees and free delivery on all orders of more than $12. According to DoorDash, members save an average of between $4 and $5 per order. The fee is normally waived for all customers for the first month, but now select Chase cardholders will get a significant discount for the first membership year and some Chase cardholders get it for free.
