Hertz Loyalty Program Wins Gold Once Again

The Hertz Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program returned to its winning ways during the recent 2016 FlyerTalk Awards.

As voted by the 600,000 business and leisure travelers that make up the FlyerTalk community, Hertz snared top honors in the Best Rewards Program category among the Drive group in the Americas, Europe/Africa, and Middle/Asia Oceania. The win marks the fifth consecutive year in which Hertz Gold Plus Rewards swept the category, speaking to the program’s dominance in the rental car industry.

“We are thrilled and gratified to receive recognition for Gold Plus Rewards from the influential FlyerTalk community,” said Matt Jauchius, Chief Marketing Officer for Hertz. “It’s no coincidence that Hertz has taken home the top spot year after year since the Awards debuted in 2012. We are continually refining and enhancing Gold Plus Rewards, while listening to customer feedback, to ensure it's the most rewarding program in the car rental industry. In fact, we are currently laying the groundwork for further enhancements, with a goal of designing the program to be even more meaningful for our millions of members worldwide.”

The program was specifically praised for its tier system, as well as the gamification provided by the accelerated rate at which customers are able to earn and redeem points for future purchases.

Hertz Gold Plus Rewards makes full use of the continually growing mobile platform, offering “Carfirmations” to Gold members and above that provide up-to-the-minute information on available vehicle models and locations. Gold members are also granted the opportunity to skip the counter at over 50 airports, saving valuable time for travelers that are looking for faster customer experience at all of their favorite brands.

The program is also respected for its flexibility, offering members the opportunity to switch cars on the fly. These benefits add up to a loyalty program that provides members with the benefits and value that shoppers crave in a successful rewards program, and this success has once again manifested in a FlyerTalk Award win.
