Five years ago, Lyft changed the way the world gets from Point A to Point B. Beginning in downtown San Francisco, people in need of a ride could forego the challenges of their own cars, taxis or the trollies and, essentially, phone a friend. Their friend would swing by and give them a Lyft to where they need to go. A lot has changed in that short time.
