Priority Pass Guest Fees are Going Up

On September 18th, the Priority Pass lounge program will change the standard cost of lounge visits from $27 to $32.

Standard Plus and Prestige members will have to pay the higher $32 fee for any guests they bring into the lounge, and Standard Plus members will also face the higher charge if they exceed their ten included free visits per year.

Priority Pass is a popular loyalty program that allows members to access a worldwide network of independently operated airport lounges.
In an email to its members that outlined the incoming changes, Priority Pass said that the change was its first price rise in over 10 years. "We have unfortunately reached the point where we need to make an adjustment to our prices to maintain the quality offering of Priority Pass," the email said.
"Raising our fees ensures we can maintain the quality offering of Priority Pass and continue to invest in both the growth of offerings available to Members (we have some exciting announcements to make soon!) and the quality experience offered."
Priority Pass has recently been in the news as many travelers have complained on social media about capacity issues, arbitrary hours, and poor service at some of the company's membership-only locations.

A spokesperson for Priority Pass' parent company, The Collinson Group, confirmed that "at this stage, the entitlement amount available at our out-of-lounge airport partners will remain the same as they are currently,"' adding that, "these partnerships with top dining experiences represent great value for these members."
