Grammy Commercials Showcase the Best of the Brands
Last night’s Grammy Awards got a lot of attention for its political slant, with Hillary Clinton and others reading from “Fire and Fury,” the unflattering biography of President Trump. What may have gotten overlooked, though, were the series of commercials that filled in the gaps between the presentation of music awards. While this week’s Super Bowl gets a lot of attention for its commercials, a wide range of brands put forth their best efforts. For those who may have taken a bathroom break or missed the show entirely, brandchannel.com collected the best of the brands, from Geico putting the tees in manatees to an Old Spice commercial that was in French. 
 
Ralph Lauren Creates Digital Officer Position
Digital transformation is a hot topic in the loyalty world and Ralph Lauren wants to be part of it. According to an article in Business Wire, Ralph Lauren hired some key executives to drive expansion of the company’s global digital presence. Alice Delahunt will join Ralph Lauren in the newly created role of Chief Digital Officer, reporting directly to Patrice Louvet, Chief Executive Officer, and will be a part of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, starting in April. She will be responsible for elevating the company’s global digital platforms and enhancing the digital experience for consumers across all channels to drive consumer acquisition, retention, value, and revenue.
